What You Will Do:

• Develop and implement a business development strategy to penetrate Ontario’s transit infrastructure market, focusing on high-value programs.
• Identify opportunities to generate significant revenue and convert leads into successful project wins.
• Cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers across transit authorities, contractors, and government agencies.
• Drive the creation of proposals and lead bid development to align with project requirements.
• Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure bid accuracy and competitiveness.
• Coordinate with Operations and Marketing to establish pursuit strategies and align on client expectations.
• Manage and develop strategic partnerships to secure QM Environmental’s position in key projects.
• Negotiate and oversee partnership agreements that align with growth goals.
• Maintain market intelligence on industry developments, standards, and regulatory changes.
• Represent QM Environmental at industry events to enhance brand presence and expand networks.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on sales forecasts and market trends.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in business development, sales, or project management within infrastructure or environmental sectors.
• Proven track record in high-revenue generation within large-scale markets.
• In-depth knowledge of Ontario’s transit infrastructure landscape and established stakeholder relationships.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and partnership-building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence decision-making at various levels.
